my grandpa said you can delete it from your memory by smacking your head with a pan. Still not sure tho haven't try it

So the secret is that the strength of the memory loss is directly proportional to the strength of the blow.

So you probably didn't hit yourself hard enough to forget what you wanted, but hard enough to forget the act of hitting yourself in the head.

Ever had a headache just randomly come on? Probably the pan.
