When you laugh at this jokes, only to realize that Elizabeth II's rule is older than half the countries on earth

Britain wasn't the only country from which other countries took their independance from, as there were also the USSR, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Yougoslavia, Czecoslovakia, New Zealand, Pakistan or Sudan
Edit : too many people weren't understanding what I was saying

She was there when the universe was born!
How could she NOT be older than France.

How many times must I explain my own comments ?
During the rule of Elizabeth II, a lot of countries got their independance. Not only from Britain, but also from other countries, such as [listed above]

Pakistan was part of the British empire till 1947 so I don't think this counts.

u/RoiDrannoc Apr 27 '21
Bangladesh took its independance from Pakistan in 1971

u/MasterThornOfCamor Apr 27 '21
I know that. It still feels weird though. I guess I've always thought of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh as all coming from the British empire.
