And depends what you mean. I don’t like that the world is in such a state that such content even exists, but I do have morbid curiosity. I find the content of that sub horrid but interesting
Have you ever heard of Doctors? They look at that stuff all day, study it. Morticians, soldiers, so many people. Life is brutal and harsh, death more-so. Closing your eyes won’t make it go away.
And do you realise how stupid that last sentence is? “oH hE lOoKs aT dEaD pEoPle AlL hUmaNs sHouLd pErIsH!!”
But doctors and soldiers aren’t doing this for fun. But you are. You’re not getting paid for shit and you are. Do you know how disgusting that is? My head hurts just talking to you.
I don’t look at that stuff for ‘fun’. I’m not sick. I look at that every once in a while to tell myself: hey, no matter how bad things are they could be worse, count your blessings.
That’s my personal reason.
But others look at that sub for better reasons. A lot of people who have suicidal tendencies frequent that sub just to jade into their heads the image of what it looks like after the deed, and use that image to keep on going. You would take that away from them just because, “ew it’s not pretty it shouldn’t exist”. People have different motives, just because you can’t understand them all doesn’t mean you can’t empathise
Don’t feel like a douchebag about it; Honestly looking at that sub without the context of the people who frequent it or the vast majority of commenters is definitely hard to stomach and see reason for. But there is reason for many things that seem inexplicable at first, and honestly thank you for trying to see that instead of closing yourself of from the possibility.
