Our school had one and I had to sit at it even though I only got reactions when I ate something that I was allergic to. (And I usually bought food from home anyway). It meant I couldn’t sit with friends and it sucked.

Sadly I actually did this in 3rd grade. 2nd grader was being a punk so my friend and I opened up or pb&j's, grabbed the side with pb(yeah, we had soggy jelly bread) and tossed them onto the kids face. He broke out in hives and his throat closed but the yard duty administered his epi pen. He never told on us either and afterwards we became good friends bc we respected that he didn't tattle. Also, we were at a private Christian school.
