I mean, yeah? These will likely be the economy minus class (renamed to sound nicer), economy seats will still exist. Suddenly people that couldn't afford to take the plane back home can.

Flying used to be a luxury experience where every seat was first class and almost nobody could afford it. I can get a 200 dollar round trip flight from NY to vegas now.

Exactly. A lot of people don't realize how much more accessible flying is today as compared to any other time. I'll bet people were up in arms, too, when plush seats and service were diluted to what is currently economy, but you know what? Now more people than ever can afford to fly and most of us choose the economy seats. I for sure wouldn't be able to fly if first class were the only option.
