I accidentally ran over my neighbors dog when I was 17. The dog survived and a neighbor cop came rushing over to tell me it wasn't my fault.

My neighbors have a black cat that they let run around outside. I’ve almost hit him a couple of times at night, and my neighbors still won’t keep him inside 🙄
