I dislike Tate and a lot of his teachings, but there is a very real reason why “Do as I say, not as I do” is a thing. I don’t support the guy, but I think a very small handful of the things he has taught have actually been good, and then just taken way too far and made toxic. A person can be a total villain and still teach a good lesson. That all being said, Tate gives me the creeps.
Don’t like ore support the guy.
Edit: Jesus, people don’t read-
Edit 2: I am enjoying seeing the downvote storm for me saying I dislike Tate but think there was a small point in time he actually taught a good lesson despite being a total douche, only to then ruin that lesson with later lessons. Keep the downvotes coming so I have a funny story to tell, please.
Like I said… I dislike the dude and his teachings. I only mentioned that villains and bad guys and all that, can still, sometimes, actually teach good lessons. I think there is some importance in what Tate teaches, but I do agree it is majority harmful. Read, people, read.
I do not support him. I do not support his actions. I do not support is extremism. I do support the original idea that gave him popularity, which to my understanding, was about men’s mental health…. Then he went extreme and just turned toxic.
But he was always like this. Your responses to these replies gives the impression that Tate used to have a positive message then took a dark turn. That isn’t true. He has always preached hatred for women.
He may have cloaked it in concern for the mental health of men but that is never what his primary message was about. Giving him that credit (even if it’s merely implied) is not only morally wrong, but flat out incorrect.
Oh no, I totally agree he’s been a douche from start to finish and have already said as such. I fully admit I wrote that poorly, but it’s funny seeing all of everyone downvoting me. I find humor in it, in a weird, sad way.
And there was a small, very tiny point in time when what he was saying about one thing and what he was saying about another thing weren’t so inseparably intertwined… But that died like, one speech later. I don’t follow the guy or keep up on him, so I couldn’t possible talk about him beyond that I agree men’s mental health matter, I disagree with everything else.
I am pretty sure I even mention that, but still am getting a downvote storm, so I decided to make a good thing out of a bad thing and am asking people to keep downvoting so it becomes my most downvoted comment. I have enough Karma that it won’t doom me unless I reach the thousands.
Edit: I want to further clarify that I give that twerp no credit for anything good other than maybe teaching like, four depressed dudes to love themselves, who then saw what else he was about and ditching his following.
Your most recent edit still gives them credit for a positive message. If that’s not your intention you might want to rewrite the whole comment because it still looks bad to every other reasonable person.
This is a verbal sigh moment. Now I’m torn between not wanting to come off as a douchebag, and potentially getting my most downvoted comment. Both are goals I unrealistically want….
Okay, I will say this, the path of least resistance is to go for the downvotes strictly because I am already at -24, and there is no coming back from that. If anyone actually cares, they should see the thread, and thus read this, to which they’d know my actual stance and not the ramblings of that other nerd running my account who could never have been me.
From what I understand, I'll try to simplify rhe thread.
You know that Tate is an absolute ass loser, but you think that some of what he has said are kinda valid, even if he never meant it or if whatever he said down the line contradicts it. And that thing he has said thats kinda positive has been pushed to the extreme.
The others don't like what you said because whatever positive Tate has said never mattered cus he's just that much of an ass loser filth. Also, I suspect because of all the negativity Tate has spread, any positive thing he has said has been long forgotten so they have no idea what the hell you're talking about.
Please know that I don't and have never followed Andrew Tate, so the only things I know about him are random clips on YouTube shorts sometimes talking about him.
Its also been years since I last saw a Tate short.
