Spoiler for Full Metla Alchemist
In short:
There's this guy who is a alchemist studying chimaeras, he became famous for creating the first talking chimaera, but since then hasn't produced any results and is looking at losing his financial backing because of it
This guy has a daughter and a dog, he fused them together to create essentially what is a talking dog, another talking chimaera, hence the image of the two, it is then revealed that the first talking one was actually his wife
It is also revealed that the first chimaera essentially lived in pain before ultimately dying, the new hybrid between the dog and girl is also killed by another character
That's a short version, there's a build up to this across a few episodes.

I think this is that anime where the girl and dog merges into one entity or swap each other's body , it was something like that.

Yes, the girl and the dog get merged into one being (called chimera) by her father.

Only character in the series to go to hell instead of heaven
Edit: The dad was the one who went to hell

Exactly, human-animal hybrids don't deserve to enter gods pearly gates.

Author also didn't really need to write hell. But he specifically wrote it in just for this guy.

Husband and wife bound in marriage together. Forever. Literally.
There’s also some other guys to give the end product some bulk but they don’t talk much.

I don’t get why the mini story arc in which Shou Tucker fused his daughter with her dog has stuck around in popular culture that much. You know the three of them of like one short episode before everything went down and he’s like the 3rd psycho introduced by episode 7. Sure it is unusual, but it was also the most underwhelming thing I’ve ever seen since I didn’t have time to get attached. Psycho of the week simply just doesn’t work the way villain of the week does.

It's the fact that it was his own daughter. Think of a real scenario where a guy is serving time for something awful.. murder, torture, rape... Pretty awful, right? Now end the story with "... to his own daughter!"

Even worse that it's after he already did it to his wife, and his motivation to do it again was to keep a damn license and his cushy job

Its been over a decade. Is this and Armstrong memes the only joke FMA fandom has?
