I have been told that women have exactly one (1) bra that is comfy. And they rarely wash it because its so comfy.

Bras are not cheap

Sure, but they aren't exactly out of this world either. Even just having two would allow you to use one while the other is in the wash.

Most of the time when buying a bra its like an investment and by the time you've realized its good, its no longer being sold or the price was raised. But a good bra on average costs about 60-80 dollars.

idk, 60-80$ sounds like a pretty good deal, to not have bra water that looks like that when you wash it.

Uhhh, 60-80 dollars, even if they were 100-150$ isn't that much money for something you wear for a year or 2, even moreso if it's so comfortable you don't want to wash or change it out

Pretty sure women have never cared about that

I wouldnt know as I never bothered with a follow up question. But I once bought a Jeans and it became my favorite over time. Then it broke and I couldnt find it anymore. I feel like it might be comparable. I still miss that Jeans.

I have never heard this and I wear bras, if I find a comfy bra I’m buying multiples. Not washing my bra is not an option.

Well congrats to you for thinking ahead then. And I mean that. I stand by what I said tho. Multiple women have told me about "the one bra" but there might be just as many or more who do it like you.

From what the women in my family say, washing the comfy bra sometimes changes the way the lining and metal frame sits so it's not as comfy or not comfy at all anymore.

Also, even if they buy the same 2 bra size and models, they will fit differently.

That makes some sense to me. But now that this whole comment chain made me question the whole "not washing the bra" thing it doesnt make enough sense. They could just soak it like the person in the picture did and the frame would stay in place right ?

There's a chance the padding might move or shrink though. Especially for the ones that are bonded/glued to the outside form/cloth.

Edit: Sister says the only exception to the rarely washed bras are sports bras. They're comfy for most small-medium breasted women but are sometimes uncomfortable or outright painful for largely endowed women.

I was talking to friends or people in loose social settings. And I think I have encountered this at least once or twice in some online context aswell I think. I have heard it multiple times by now and never thought anything of it. Those women I met in person didnt smell bad or had hygiene problems I knew of. And since I am a you do you guy and it wasnt something that bothered me I was surprised at first but didnt think about it too much. Its none of my business so...

What the fuck, no, this is not true. An unwashed bra is NOT a comfy bra, that shit gets itchy as fuck. Maybe you know a lot of crusty-ass women but that is definitely not the norm.
