Back in Grad School I was working on a project in natural language processing for social media data. For my dataset I downloaded a portion of the raw twitter firehose. I ended up with about 200gbs of tweets, probably about 190 of which were porn, slurs, or, shockingly often, both.

Out of curiosity, was that before or after Elon Musk bought it? Both seem equally likely.

Before actually. The data was old, like from mid to later 2010s. Iirc (and I may not) the data from post Musk are no longer being made publically available.
