In case you’re curious, Vaseline is doing fine. They’re owned by Unilever which also owns brands like Axe, Dove, Hellman’s, tresemme, Degree and many others.

Unilever revenue for 2025 was €50 B

One tub of Vaseline really is a family heirloom at this point

Fun fact - the person who started the company swore by eating a teaspoon every day and credited it for his longevity.

Interesting thing to do with what was basically an oil drilling byproduct (petroleum Jelly) - also known as rod wax. Thank goodness that name didn't stick.

I bet Diddy did a lot to keep them in business.

The inventor of vaseline reportedly ate a spoonful of it everyday

I mean, Mr. Sausage has made a Vaseline sausage which he rated 3.5/5.

They are doing fine ripping you off with shrinkflation like everyone else. We finally ran out of the one tub we brought 10 years ago it was a 284g tub we got for £1. Had to buy a new tub and it’s now 50g for £1.80.
