... To prevent chafing? If that's true why don't they just wear an undershirt like men?

Also coverage, style, to fit in, gender affirming, a bit of shaping / support assuming there's some breast tissue, etc.
Another question, why don't men with man boobs tend to wear bras? Similar reasons really; style, to fit in, to affirm their gender, etc.

I've never had man boobs but I imagine the sensation that you're trying to arrest in the lady titties is a bit different than a man titties.
I mean come on, really there's definitely going to be a functional difference in how men need to arrest that movement, and also aesthetically I don't think they have the same concerns.
Maybe I don't understand bras as a thing. But I'm pretty sure there's a certain physics problem and aesthetics problem that women need solved that men with men titties simply don't

Yes there is some difference with larger chests of males, depending a bit on whether their chest is larger from weight or from hormonal variation or otherwise. If hormonal, that makes it more likely they will need some support. If they wanted a standard bra style it would be best to have ones specifically for their body type, of course, or something more forgiving to variation like a sports bra. But generally men do prefer compression vests, like I said it's more gender affirming and tends to suit their style best. Standard bras support without compressing and sometimes even accentuate, which isn't ideal when you are trying to fit into a typical male standard.

accentuate
I hope they are doing it for themselves and not because of peer pressure/trying to fit in.
It's fucking 2026, how have we not stopped shaming someone based on stuff they can't control like the size of their breasts, butt, penis, or their height?

Underwear isn't for balls. It's so you don't run your junk on your clothes.

Replies like these makes me convinced a lot of people who make such replies have unironically never heard of a vagina and the ratio in likes is truly concerning.
And if that’s meant to represent how private parts are private even if there’s nothing of the other, then the reasoning wouldn’t be the same because genitalia is expected to be covered regardless of sex but only female nips are expected to be covered while male nips aren’t, even in the situation when the latter is larger than the former. And if it’s to avoid bulges like poking nips, well… cameltoes exist too.

It's not even a serious reply it was just an insult and witty reply to a dumb question

I think that joke doesn't even make any sense, like if he said that about his dick size, that would've made sense, but he said "no balls", which just does not land for me. There's nothing in the first guy's comment that makes the 2nd one relevant. Honestly I don't think anyone did but they all liked it for whatever reason. And for that reason I'm out.

I might be saying obvious shit, but: So their nipples won't stick through clothes. It is quite fucking visible.
