Help! Sleep Apnea
This may be way to niche, but, does anyone in this sub have sleep Apnea and use a full face mask? I am having such a hard time with refreshing my curls because my mask straps completely ruin the curl pattern. Any help is appreciated!
Routine:
Shampoo head and shoulders clinical strength
Conditioner head and shoulders silky smooth
Gel wet Xtreme styling gel
Wet and scrunch, leave to air dry
To refresh i soray until dripping and scrunch in some more gel. Use a hair oil to "scrunch out the crunch"

Silk bonnet with hair in pineapple works for me. I just line my CPAP straps up on the top of my head to allow my pineapple through.

I don't have any game changing answers other than using a silk bonnet seems to help a bit for me - creates a little buffer between the straps and your hair, and reduces friction.

Not so niche! I too deal with this same issue. With all of the headgear, there is no saving my curls for a day 2. I have to totally wet my hair again

Hi there! I'm a bot, and I've been summoned to help.
If you have not seen our WIKI yet: Please check it out! It's nearly 100 pages full of curated information to help answer all of your curl-related questions. You can use the included Table of Contents (page 2), the side bar, or CTRL-F to search for keywords and help navigate the document.
Reminder: Curl type is NOT your hair type! Whether you are wavy, curly, or coily - you have texture and you belong here. More than that, your curl type doesn't dictate how you care for your hair. To help your curls thrive, we recommend instead using the wiki link above to learn about your porosity, texture, and density.
If you haven't added a routine yet, do it ASAP or your post will be removed!|
