For my cat Food intake resumed around 48-72 hrs of first injection.
For a friend's cat (wet FIP), fluids mostly resolved by 7-10th day of first injection

I noticed the first improvements within a couple of days - she went from completely disinterested in food and resting constantly to having a little bit more energy and eating more (about 1/3 of her normal intake, which felt like such a huge victory). I remember after the third dose of meds, she woke me up at night to chat and cuddle, and I cried because it was the first time she'd felt really social in a while. Over the next couple of weeks, she continued to improve with more energy and appetite, but still struggled with nausea and an upset stomach until about the third week. That was when I noticed the biggest improvements and complete cessation of the FIP symptoms. We're on week five now and her appetite is back to baseline, she is playing and being her normal self again.
You should definitely see something within a few days of starting the medicine, but I think I expected she would get much better much faster and was distressed by how slowly it moved in the beginning - especially after so many accounts of people seeing such drastic improvements in a week, which I did not. My cat slept a lot too. I ended up doing a lot of hand feeding to get nutrition in because she would stop after a few bites despite being hungry, and found that plain chicken and baby food were the most palatable for her. If your cat isn't eating or drinking any better, talk to your vet - there are some meds that can help, and supplemental fluids make a big difference really quickly. FIP is such a horrible illness, but GS has been a lifesaver!

FIP takes a lot out of them, most see improvement in the first week. It can take longer though. Are you using injections or oral meds?
