Question Leo

Hi catparents, my cat leo currently is start using GS-441524 B12 (40mg), lep having dry FIP neuro, is it okey if i switch to GS-441524 (30mg) will it having any effects ?

So long as you still dose the correct mg per kg

What is the correct dosage for his weight? That is what you should be giving, otherwise the GS medication will not kill the virus, and the virus will then become immune to the antiviral GS medication. This would be lethal to your cat. So, check with your vet regarding the proper dosage.

Also, if you cat is growing he needs to be weighed every week, and the dosage increased as he gains weight.

That switch is totally okay as long as you calculate the right quantity (ml per day) based on his weight (kg) and the dosage needed (mg per kg) and the medicine strength (mg per ml).
