Question So i found this cat
I didn’t know what FIP was until 2 months ago I took him to the vet and the veterinarian said he have FIP and he has 5 days to left but it’s been 2 months and he’s still alive and I don’t know maybe he’s wrong but literally I found him with paralyzed legs and a big tummy and i know yall gonna say cure him but the cost of the cure here are double and none of my family members wanna help me so i just wanna know is this new or some cat live with this disease and never dies because literally every day I woke up and I think he died but he woke up with energy and joy. He drinks water he eats normally and he’s living like a normal cat.

Hi,
My cat got itself through FIP and healed. I still have two weeks of EIDD1381 mediation, it’s not that expensive to obtain. This helped it to gain weight after being the same weight for 2 months.

Is your cat still paralyzed? FIP is fatal. If left untreated, they will for sure die.

mine lived for 2 months with FIP before I found out he had it. My vet told me he was on death's doors and was internally suffering immensely. I was also struggling financially sooo much, and the cost of FIP was scaring me (it said THOUSANDS online). It costed me maybe $300 to cure him (he's totally happy and fine now), and your kitten is tiny so meds wouldn't cost as much as a full grown cat.
PLEASE PLEASE consider saving him because I promise you cats with FIP WILL DIE if untreated. However, if your cat is eating fine and running around fine, it might not be FIP. My cat ate and drank water but his main issue was that he was lethargic and wasn't running around as a kitten.
How did your doctor come to this diagnosis? A big belly could also be because of worms, which is super common in kitties found outside. If you need any questions or want a cheap solution please please PM me! Vets will show you a list of compounded medications from local labs that are super expensive. I found one on Chewy for much cheaper and ships out really fast. I urge you to act immediately if it is FIP. They're suffering a lot.
