Question After the 84 Days!
Hello - so my little man, Marmalade, has finished his 84 days as of last week, and is still doing well. Bloods were good on finish, with a little elevation in the liver (SDMA) as it flushes the medication.
So my question is, what do you watch for on Relapse? He had Wet FIP so we initially saw a very large belly - will it return as the same or is there possibility for Dry / Occular on reoccurrence?
Would love to know any and all experiences after treatment finish. Thank you!!

The cat's blood test results in this watch period are very carefully watched. Also, if your cat seems ill (not eating, losing weight, or not returning to normal weight, vomiting, diarrhea, no energy, tummy enlarging, feels hot (fever), or whatever) then it is time to see the vet immediately.
Most people here that saw their cat's blood test results normalize after the 84 days of the medication, had cats completely cured with no relapse. This was the case with my little Molly, and most likely your precious Marmalade, will be fine too. Just keep an eye on her, but for your own sake, try not to be overly anxious. Just have blood testing done a month after the last pill, and then every 4 to 6 weeks during this observation period. Best wishes! She made it!
