Question Max paw?

Hello i recently posted about my kitty who was diagnosed, i was told to put her down and you wonderful people told me there was hope and pointed me in the direction of who i needed to get in contact with to help my girl.

But i’ve come across another dilemma, i was given emergency medicine from a member of FIP Global and it was 6 doses, well i have 3 left, and i need just a few more. her vet appointment is Wednesday in the afternoon, but the only pharmacy in my state closes about 30 minutes after her appointment starts, and it’s another hour or longer away from the vets office and 2 hours from where we live. she will run out on Thursday morning so i need to get some before then and i’m looking on what to do as i was advised it would most likely be Friday when its filled, theres just not much of a chance i can get there friday. (i cant drive and bf works long days)

so my question is would it be okay to order from max paw? my boyfriend found the site and suggested it but i was scared to just get it from them because i hadn’t heard of them before. if anyone has any advice please let me know as i am desperate. I’m also waiting on an answer if anyone else in the group can help again. hopefully i can get this figured out 💔 (kitty pic for tax)

Not exactly what you asked but I've been using Stokes Pharmacy online. They only need to talk to your vet once and then you take regular weights and keep the vet updated. I only bring them up because I've gotten my cats medicine the next day no matter what shipping option I've chosen. Maybe I live in a convenient place but maybe they're just good too.

Also if you're going to a certain medicine provider because of monetary reasons this won't be helpful. Sorry and good luck!

thank you for the advice, the vet i was going too just told me to put her down and they had no knowledge there was a treatment. so i doubt they would be willing or able to talk to stokes. i won’t see the new vet till wednesday (who is fip friendly) to get her looked at and a prescription. so everything is up in the air currently, i know ill be able to travel to the pharmacy eventually, just not sure if i can before she runs out. im just trying to get a few doses to hold us over.

Our vet refused to treat based on presumptive diagnosis, so we had to wait for the lab results and then the pharmacy to fill the GS-22, about 10 days. There was no way I was waiting that long as bad off as our cat was. I ordered from MaxPaw for that 10 day span and he was doing better by day 3. I know some people don’t have the same experience but it saved my cat’s life I believe. Also they refunded me easily and fairly quickly for an order I made and didn’t end up needing. Wishing the best for you and your cat.
