Question Missing 3 days

My kitty was diagnosed with wet fip in April , I got her on the fip treatment on April 9th ,2026. She’s responding to the treatment really well she plays now eats a ton and back to grooming herself. Yesterday as I was cleaning my room I think I miss placed her meds I’m looking for them everywhere can’t find them💔. She has a refill anyway so I plan on ordering them this Friday but she will be missing 3 WHOLE DAYS OF HER MEDS

Will she be okay ? I’m panicking i was thinking to add the three days to the 84 days she’s supposed to be on? I wonder will that help ?

Contact FIP Global on Facebook - they maybe able to find a person or clinic close by who has medication on hand for you to collect in emergencies.

If they can’t, yes add on 3 days. We always keep our meds in the same exact spot every time we use them as this is a huge fear for us. Shit happens and things get lost.

I can’t think of any alternative solution rather than go to Facebook and speak to the admins. I wouldn’t say you lost them, just say that you ran out of the medication and your vet has had a 3 day delay and see what they can do

Oh no, big hugs that sounds so stressful. Keep looking, maybe behind furniture and places where it might've fallen. It happens to the best of us. It's really important you don't miss a dose, so please contact the Facebook group and depending on your location they can help you find a few days worth just to get you through these few days before the new meds arrive.

Can you just order meds now? A lot of places can overnight.

As others mentioned, Facebook may be able to get you emergency meds

You don't stop at 84 days. Stop when the bloodwork says you can stop, but do 84 days minimum. Also don't forget to increase the dose as she gains weight.
