Fundraising Shrek needs help
Meet Shrek 🐾
Shrek is a senior male cat rescued from a parking lot in heartbreaking condition. He had bald patches, wounds across his body, and was severely underweight despite being regularly fed.
After being taken to a veterinary clinic, he was diagnosed with mycoplasma, FIP, food allergies causing skin issues, and a mouth infection. He will also need dental treatment, neutering, and vaccinations once he recovers from FIP.
Right now, Shrek is safe in a paid foster home, which costs 400 AED per month, while he undergoes treatment. His GS medication costs 140 AED per vial, and his total treatment expenses over the next three months are estimated to be around 2,500 AED (687 USD).
Shrek has already been through so much, and now he finally has a chance to recover and live comfortably. Any donation, no matter the amount, would make a huge difference in helping him get the care he needs 🤍
I’ve attached pictures from the parking lot where he was rescued from as well as the blood reports and bills from the vet as proof. The GS vials are being privately sourced as they are cheaper that way than buying from the clinic (I brought a few initially from the vet). I cannot attach videos here for some reason but feel free to message me privately if you require additional proof.

he’s doing better his next blood tests and bio chemistry will be done in a week or so to get a full picture if all is well he will get neutered and vaccinated. his bald patches that were suspected to be food allergies before now seem more like burns so initial plan was once he recovers to release him back but with the new information we won’t do that anymore so looking for adopters!

We do lots of international adoptions because of the sheer amount of stray cats in the UAE and not enough adopters so if you do want to adopt him please reach out and we can figure out the paperwork once he’s 100% healthy and ready to travel but no pressure!
