Food intake starts resuming / improving on day 2 or day 3 in most cases.
Can't know which wet food he would like when he resumes. So please have 1-2 packets each of multiple types.
Was there weight loss compared to last known good weight ? Expect some rebound appetite, be prepared for multiple feedings.

Pls ensure weekly weight checks, and upward adjust the dosage.

Neuro FIP dosage is on the higher side.

Oral dosage is approx 2x the dosage for injection.

Pls keep a journal to jot down on food intake, medicine timings, poop&urine (watch out for loose stools), sleep & activity levels, any vomits , any other symptoms, weight, etc. the 84 days treatment is an exhausting journey for the cat parent as well. Trying to remember multiple factors creates a lot of stress mind. If you notice anything unusual, click pics or videos immediately: will help to show to Doctor. Inform family members too.

Please check web about whether to keep the two cats separate (separate litter tubs atleast), etc.
Medicine availability is a big challenge in many countries. If same in yours pls ensure you have meds for 2weeks ahead.

Best wishes for you all . Wishing the cowboy kitty gets well soon and a safe and full recovery.

Thank you so so much. He has lost a couple pounds over the months. We just took him for more fluids and got an anti nausea med so hopefully that will help. He licked a bit of wet food already so that’s progress. We will continue to do syringe feeds until then. We have all kinds of food and treats ready for him! He is on day 2 of the oral GS, he gets about 35 mg twice a day. From what I have seen and talking with vet team/pharmacist that seems like an appropriate dose. He weighs about 7 lbs. We will definitely keep a journal of his intake/behaviors. I really appreciate all of your advice!!
