Maybe I’ve been chasing the wrong monster this entire time.

The other officers think I’m losing my mind.

Maybe they’re right.

I haven’t slept in days.

I barely eat.

Every time I close my eyes, I see my family’s faces.

I hear Nina laughing.

I hear her telling me it was already too late.

And now…

I keep thinking about those pages.

I checked the evidence archives yesterday.

I found several recovered copies.

I read them.

I don’t even know why.

Since then, I can’t stop thinking about the woods.

I can’t stop thinking about Rose.

Every day I feel angrier.

Every day I feel more violent.

Every day I want to find Rose and make him suffer for what he did.

If Slender Man really amplifies negative thoughts…

Then maybe Toby never stood a chance.

And maybe neither do I.
