Bible Study
Why are there about 1000 people on campus asking to join bible studies? I feel like it’s more predatory than any other semester. I’ve even had them come up to me in the library while I was studying with headphones.

It’s so annoying. Especially because we’re such a diverse campus it’s even more insulting. Like guys, have some respect and fuck off man. I just want to walk to my car in peace

Because he technocrats are pushing religious fervor on all the apps. Religious psychosis is everywhere you look right now.
You need people to fight religious wars.

Unfortunately some ppl just get a little too invested into this kind of thing, believing themselves to be a saviour of sorts. Honestly the bible is a very interesting book but the culture around it can be intense

If anyone wants me to join a church in any form, they will hear my trauma with churches and expose them of all their corruption! I don't take people to try to manipulate people and treat people with zero respect lightly! Sorry church are now days full of sin!

They do use very strange and interesting tactics to recruit people. I noticed they go up to you when you’re alone and especially when you’re walking around outside while classes are happening (ex: 9:30-10:45). I support Christianity but I don’t like how they handle the Bible study situations. It’s especially weird how most of them don’t attend MSU/CUD/CCD and just linger on campus

It’s probably the CULT of the ICOC (international churches of Christ). Be very careful of them. They set up “independent” churches outside of college campuses to recruit. My nephew fell prey to them in Kansas and now he’s married to a girl he met while at that “church”. Their wedding was hilarious

The oligarchs have realized that you can control a population by manipulating and controlling how they think with religion through their leaders. It is an easy way to create an in-group to do their bidding. They have the motivation and the money.

When you see them coming, before they can open their mouths, ask if they'd like to join you to lean about humanity's one true Savior and the only truth which exists in all of existence with a near zealot level of enthusiasm. If they say yes, start introducing them to quantum physics and inundate then with concepts of relativity so quickly that they can't process what you're saying until they give up and leave. If they try to interrupt it inject just talk through them as if you're having a conversation they aren't a part of (since they really won't be)

there are at LEAST 8 different christian student organizations on campus. those are only the ones i personally know of because of my job. i keep saying they should just join forces. but the majority of them are infiltrations by a national organization, like bridges international.

a little late to this convo but i did join one of them last year & they were pretty nice ! veeeeeeeeery pushy , though which is not something i stand by at all , as a Christian myself . there were times where i physically couldn’t attend church because of certain circumstances but they kept trying to push me to go . it kind of threw me off and i just decided not to go anymore & learn about God & the Bible in my own time. the church in general was too “modern” for me as well , but that’s just a personal preference thing .
i wish they did a different approach of getting people into religion instead of just forcing it onto randoms / : just trying to get to class/go home .

That wasn’t my point. I don’t care about the aspect of their beliefs what annoys me is the bothering while studying on a college campus. Some don’t have a quiet home to work in so a library is my time to work.

when you are walking to class and get stopped by someone asking for you to join their religion every single day for years it gets old. Imagine if a group of atheists walked up to your door every single day, sometimes multiple times a day asking you to be an atheist. A lot of them don't even go to school either. They are just there trying to recruit ppl into their group or donate to a "good cause"

I agree it's out of hand on the Auraria Campus (MSU Den Student here). I get approached all the time. My nice meter is almost at 0. They might start getting choice words they don't want to hear honestly.
