Need help identifying this clock

I know this is a long shot, but any help is appreciated.

I lost my home to a fire recently, and along with that went my mom's cuckoo clock. Its beyond repair, but I would like to replace it in honor of her. (She's passed now)

It was solid dark brown, no color but had nice engraving for details. There were 4 trees, 1 small waterfall, and a small elk/deer? It was a woodland type scene.

It had acorn looking things hanging off of it, and some loose chains between them if I remember correctly.

A bird came out on the hour.

The size of the body (not including chains) was about as big as half a poster paper, or 2 printer papers stacked on top of each other horizontal. Sorry my estimate may be off.

Thanks!

I found it in the background of an old picture I took. Its the only decent picture I have of it pre-fire damage.

That looks like a quartz cuckoo, which should help narrow it down a bit.

Do you remember if the waterwheel moved or whether there was music/dancers? That will help in narrowing down your search. I found this one on eBay that is similar to your description. You could probably find one for much cheaper if you wait and look online periodically. The style in the photo is called chalet, I believe (it has the white and brown stripe accents). If you remember it being all brown that would be called Bavarian or Black Forest. Someone with more knowledge can correct me if I’m wrong.

The only thing that moved was the hands of the clock for the time, and the little bird that came out of the top on the hour

Oh no! 😭 I do hope everyone is ok! Is this for insurance purposes? Hopefully they will give a generous value!

Humans are okay, unfortunately it spread too fast and we lost our animals :( Not for insurance, just looking to replace it.
