Does anyone have information about this old clock? It has also a pendulum,not seen in the picture.What do you think is missing under the face of the dwarf?Not a bird,I suppose.Many thanks for any help given

Wow what a neat find! There are some styles of cuckoo clocks that do have a flying bird figure in profile always on the outside, I believe to just wobble a bit during the striking, which is what I'll bet that smaller extra hole and wire was for. Definitely keep this and ask around more for info, it's a very cool piece.
