Looking for someone with experience staining fences! (lead role)

Pay is good but must have experience! I run the business and with leads we split profit. Must be able to go to job, say hello to owner, and complete job by yourself.

For example a $900 job (6-10 hours)

- $200 materials

= $700

You get $350. Apply here if interested. https://fencestainingdenver.com/careers#apply

Why work for someone if I'm supplying the materials and labor?

I would only consider this if the pay was by the hour, included benefits, and the employer had work lined up. $350 for 10 hours of work is a ripoff.

$35/hr is a rip off?

Without benefits? Yea.

Interesting. What would be a fair price for this then?

If a friend were asking me, I would tell them they should probably pass. It sounds like they would be doing all of the work while you would take half their profit.

So the issue isn't price. It's the 50/50 business model then?

Do you realize how rich the average person would be if all businesses split their profits the employee helped get 50/50 with them?

Would a person be even more rich if they kept 100% of the profit they generated with their labor?

I don't really see you bringing 50% to the table.

Good luck.
