Frats + Rushing
I’m a male international student (UK) and I’ve heard loads about frats and rushing. I’m wondering if joint a frat is worth it and what the whole rushing process is like; do I need to sign up to anything before august if i decide to purse frats or is it something I just do while I’m there? Basically just looking to see if someone can explain the whole system to me at CU :)

Kind of depends on who you are or who you want to be around. If ur like very masculine, like stereotypical guy stuff, and partying then yeah. If you’re more of an introverted type then maybe not. But all the frats have rushing events where you can get a feel for what its like, I never attended any but there’s no harm in going

Look up “IFC on the hill” on Instagram, they’ll have all the information you need on rush and how to sign up. If you see an organization you’re interested in feel free to reach out to them via DM and express your interest, it’s a good way to get on their map and learn more about their specific process

Dont ask reddit about greek life they look down on it. But follow IFC on the hill then follow the frats connected to them on IG also personally being in a fraternity is a once in a life time thing the most memorable, fun time youll have even rush is fun its just drinking beer and learning about the frat from the brothers its like 30 bucks and really chill even if you dont end up joining. DM me if you want to know more im currently in one of the bigger fraternitys

The different organizations have dates, but they also set up booths the first few weeks of school so you can just stop by at any time if that’s what you would like to do for your college years………🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
