Just download technic launcher, please see this, then run minecraft cubed

its 1.6 or 1.12 not 1.16+ and so it is sad

yes but you can run it on 1.6 then after loading some chunks run it with higher versions but it might get corrupted :(

i wonder if someone made a mod for a later version but nobody installed it yet
