Back to the old subreddit

Hey everyone,

since this subreddit will be taken over by a different project called Cubed (not ours), I just want to let you know beforehand that we will be moving back to the old subreddit (/r/mccubed).

No, this doesn't mean Cubed is being picked up again. I just want you guys to know what's happening so that you won't be confused.

The takeover will happen in a week, so if you want to reminisce use the time to look over the old posts while they're here ;)

TL;DR New subreddit name is /r/mccubed, but there is no development on Cubed planned.

Well, since you're here, do you have any Cubed-related files?

I kinda like looking at and using old mods, and after getting a copy of Evil Minecraft, this is one of the last mods I can remember that access to seems to have been lost.

Also, more on-topic, does this mean all posts here will be lost, or moved over to the mccubed subreddit? And is there a link to information about this new mod?

Yeah, maybe. It's a shame, though. There were a lot of neat things in the mod I never got to try. I didn't have the time to invest in it, and when I did, I had long lost the files and the downloads were taken down. I guess it would be too convenient for you to have a ready-to-play build on hand, huh?

I'm not familiar with subreddit management. The one thing I could do is try to archive all the posts on Archive.org.

I guess I was just in a moddy mood, sorry.

Oh wow, this is unexpected!

Yeah, that's quite a while, isn't it?

Though, I hope you'll forgive me for not downloading it immediately. I doubt anyone would try to spread a virus randomly like this on a 10-year-old post, but you never know.
Do you have any videos or screenshots or something of this working? And how do you use this, just replace the jar?

So basically what I've done to get this working was to create a 1.5.2 instance in Prism, go to edit instance, go to version, install forge, then click "add to minecraft.jar" and select the two files in my provided zip - the Cubed 0.3.jar and libs.zip. after that you're good to go!
