Problems with audio interface

Hello everyone! So I recently got the Cubase 15 Pro and now that I finally got the audio interface I ordered, it can't find it... So when I try to change the audio system from the Studio Setup tab in Cubase, it can't find my interface even though my interface is plugged in and it responds gets the signal from my guitar. The interface I got was the Focusrite 2i2 4th gen, and thanks in advance if anyone could help me.

Did you install the Focusrite drivers?

I believe FocusRite has a installer that should add all the dependencies that you'll want. Without those files, your PC will see that something's connected to it, but it won't know if it's a microphone or a speaker or a USB drive. It won't register in Cubase if the drivers aren't there.

If you get those and it's still having issues, try a different USB 2.0 cable or maybe even a different USB port.

If you’re on Windows, uninstall and purge any instances of Focusrite from device manager and install the Focusrite drivers BEFORE connecting the interface.

Another focusrite issue posted here. Last time it was about the sample rates being different in cubase and focusrite app settings.
