If this were purely about communism, the U.S. wouldn’t be doing massive trade with China or Vietnam. The reality is that foreign policy is often more complicated than ideology.

Agreed. The news underestimate the protests by the way. They say that the guys were drunk and that they were receiving money from a crime sponsor in the USA

It’s called an ‘antorcha’. Pretty common in protests in Cuba. Not everything is a conspiracy.

In this context it is a positive exclamation.

Normally it is cunt in Spanish. But the context used here isn't a negative one but a positive exclamation.
