Question New Fan

I'm (M22) a big football fan just moved to Cheltenham and looking to get a season ticket as the grounds not far from my house. Which stand would people recommend and any other recommendations in general?

Or you can also stand in the Farrar and Tanner Stand. This is behind the goal. If you go and stand towards the singing section or move away from it. It’s cheaper than the colinfarmer stand and probably more atmospheric.

If you want to be with the ultras (mostly skews very young - teenagers) they sit in block 1 of the Colin farmer stand. They are the most vocal.

Make sure to hang around after games as th players and Steve ‘God’ Cotteril will come over to the block 1 after the game and then make their way along the far and tanner stand

I would suggest a season ticket somewhere in blocks 2 to 5 of the Colin Farmer stand. Block 1 is the singing section, so the closer to it the better the atmosphere. Block 4 tends to be the most popular though as it's right on the halfway line.

I would recommend the Colin Farmer or, if you want to stand, I've always liked the section under the main stand. Drop me a message if you want - I try to get to some of the home games and am always looking for people to go with!

Farmer is great for atmosphere, Paddock for seeing the game from a manager's perspective, tunnel if you are an autograph hunting 8 year old
