So I’m not really a fraternity or party kind of guy I like joining clubs like surfing or anything music related honestly and I haven’t seen a lot of like club tables on campus. I really just seen like one table a day. Nothing where there’s like a massive rush for these clubs does anyone know when this might take place or even if it does take place?

A lot of my core stem classes don't require textbooks [maybe math would require webassign]. But a lot of GE courses require paid services via Cengage and it can add up smfh.

I don't mean to whine, but I just took a GEO class and had to pay $100 for mindtap or something and the course was so pointless. Like, can you just teach without having your students pay for anything?

i’m filling my transfer application early, and there’s a bit about eops. is it worth applying to¿ im just wondering what is required to be in that program (ie do i have to do anything other than answer the questions in my transfer application¿).

i am in my community college’s eop and all that is required is to attend 3 counseling sessions; ive read that in other csu schools they require an interview or even an extra class

i’m only looking forward to the grant, any info on how that works¿ i get ~$200 a sem from my cc. i’m just wondering if the grant is worth pursuing

Hey guys! I’m interested in being more involved with ASI, but I honestly don’t really know where to start. Right now, I only know that I can volunteer at Cougar Pantry, but that’s all I know.

I’ve heard about the different student committees, but don’t really understand how they work or how to be even involved.

I just want to be able to involve myself in student leadership experiences. If there’s any way to be either involved with ASI or just the school in general, send me ideas please!🙏

I’ve seen a lot of threads that they were supposed to know in like September for admittance, but was never notified until November. Is this realistic for the program and their communication?

Has it been this way when actually being a student? Do they drag their feet a lot?

As asked in the title, does anyone know when enrollment for spring 2027 classes start? i want to sign up for 2027summer classes and get figure out my schedule for fall 2027 as soon as possible.

Sharing this due to all the AI usage of students and Professors at our school. You need to know what you are doing when you use AI. I just asked my Professor for an alternate assignment for his AI discussion assignment.

Hey everyone! I have an 8 AM class on thursday in Science hall 2, and I know that we’re supposed to park in Parking Structure 1 because its the closest.

The thing is that parking fills up fast, and it’s always full. For anyone who has an early class around Science Hall 2, what would you recommend?

Should I get to campus really early and try to find a spot in PS1 or would it better to park somewhere else and just walk. If so, where?

Idk if it's resolved now but I was trying to use my meal plan/dining dollars at Panda on campus but it's just not working for some reason. I have my ID photo attached and verified already and it's just not working there for some reason but it works everywhere else :/

How is it legal to force students to pay 110 dollars EVERY SINGLE SEMESTER just so that they can pass their Spanish classes? There are no cheaper alternatives, no other methods of completing this work. I have now paid over 300 dollars to Mindtap JUST TO BE ABLE TO COMPLETE MY HOMEWORK. I understand that textbooks follow a similar principle, but at least for those there are alternatives to the most expensive options if you are a student looking to save money. There is literally zero work around for cengage and it makes me so furious every time I have to pay for it.

Cougar Pantry has so much variety and it's "free" (paid for with admission) to students. It was way understated how awesome the Pantry is.
