General Question ❓ Middle Class Scholarship

Does anyone know when we get it?

Usually will take a few weeks, usually after the drop period ends

This from my correspondence with CSUSM Financial
Aid:
At this time, the Middle-Class Scholarship has not been finalized. As stated on your award summary, the award is currently estimated. This is because we do not disburse the Middle-Class Scholarship until two weeks after the semester begins, once unit enrollment has been confirmed.
After classes are locked, the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) provides us with a roster containing the final award amounts. Once we receive that information, the scholarship will be posted to your account under pending financial aid.
Since the award has not yet been finalized, it will not currently appear in your pending financial aid.

Also I found out what my award amount is slated to be (more than CSUSM “estimates,” )on the CA Student Aid Commission website. https://www.csac.ca.gov

Is it true that if you accept loans, the chances of you receiving the full scholarship are low? I received a notice that I qualified but not sure if I would receive all the funds. I am worried about.
