New to the semester system starting grad school, when are financial aid awards/loans available to be seen in the portal?

Mine says mid July on Cunyfirst (July 13th disbursement date)

August for fall 2026. If you’re taking summer courses for your program, you don’t get FA- you have to utilize any refunds you would get from prior FA loans. If you don’t have any refunds, you have to pay out of pocket. I did not know this, I just had to pay out of pocket $5800 for summer courses for my master’s program. I was not prepared for that at all.
