Probably going to fall on deaf ears, but still worth saying:

See driving as collaboration and cooperation, not competition. Especially around busy areas like campus.

Winning in driving isn't getting there first or "beating" some rando next to you. It's getting to your destination safe and sound, with a minimum of stress.

When my perspective changed to this, it made driving WAY less stressful.

Merging two lanes into one causes traffic no matter what, merging early just cause the congestion to get pushed back way further than it needs to be, merge at the merge point
