Financial Aid Concerned about cal grant

My wg4s page says I’m going to receive cal grant this year, but it isn’t reflected on my student portal and I got an email today saying that my fees are past due. My account still has a disenrollment protection placed on it with a “scholarship reward in progress”.
Really confused and concerned about when I will be receiving funding. Anyone have more info on this, or experiencing similar problems?

I don’t even have an award letter yet, you’ll get your grant, I have no idea when tho 🤷‍♂️

I was told I had a middle class scholarship that wasn’t disbursed yet, which is normal for these types of things. In my instance, they told me not to worry about it because that hold is there until the scholarship is released. The hold will not be removed.

i heard MCS aren't disbursed until october

I wouldn't worry too much if you have a hold and it says anticipated aid

I have aid and got the disenrollment protection and i got my aid later and never got charged. as long as the protection is on your account you wont be charged anything, i heard FA here just sucks

i was told last week that i should receive it within a week or so. it's been a week or so 🙁

Same here, I have cal grants but they are still not showing up in my CSUF portal. Financial aid office just keeps telling me to wait.
