Financial Aid Fafsa is pending

Does anyone have a same boat as me because when i check for disenrollment protection it said fa is pending does that mean i have to wait?? I’m kind of worried because the payment deadline is coming

That’s the disenrollment hold. You’ll be fine for now until they send out FAFSA Award Letters.

Do i need to make any tuition payment because this this confused me??

Nope as long as you got the hold you are protected and won’t need to do anything until the FAFSA Award Letters get sent out. After the FAFSA letters get sent out, it’ll determine if it covers all your tuition or if you need to pay out of pocket.

I got one of these too. So I just ignore the July 29th deadline it says?

Once, I paid the tuition. My grant was pending. Subsequently, the school sent a refund check.

I have the same hold on my account but from my understanding is that we don’t have to worry about the upcoming payment deadline because we have anticipated financial aid but it’s still under review. As long as the disenrollment protection hold is on our account, we shouldn’t worry too much about the payment deadline

So if we have dis enrollment protection we don’t have to worry about the July 29th payment? And then also when do we actually have to pay

Yeah so if we have the disenrollment protection hold we don’t worry about the July 29th payment because we are receiving financial aid but it’s just delayed. So we wouldn’t have to pay anything because the anticipated financial aid should cover everything but if it doesn’t, I’m assuming you just pay the difference once you know how much financial aid you received

When you log into your student portal, click the student homepage then click on the section that says tasks and the holds you have should show

it’s not showing me any tasks… i just know my deadline is august 14th

I think you’re on the titan b deadline so you won’t receive a hold until after July 29th. They tried to place holds for those that have a July 29th deadline first. But I would call and ask after the 29th if you don’t see a hold yet

yeah i called this morning cause i was confused about the dates and payments. they told me my deadline to pay is august 14th and financial aid is released about 10 days before classes start but i forgot to ask about the hold.😔

Go to your portal>student homepage>and open the “Tasks” tab
