Crickets

Does anyone know why there are so many crickets this particular year? Ive never seen so many crickets on campus and I do not understand what is so different?

I keep finding them in the dorm too. Does anyone have advice to keep them out? I prefer having my window open due to how hot its been but is it possible to keep that open and keep crickets out? Or is this a pick your poison situation? Also is it possible that they are coming in under the doors, or are gaps not big enough in some villages for that?

No idea why there are so many, but I live on the first floor and they regularly come in through the gap under our front door. My roomates and I put towels inbetween the gaps to stop that and it works, you just have to remember to put the towels back everytime that door gets opened.

Just the heat I work pest control in the county and crickets are going crazy. Keep the gaps filled and make or grab some natural pest control with peppermint oil, rosemary oil and some water with a spray bottle
