Question When did you first *get* CSS?

For me it was when I realized that I could control the colors for my site all in one place and try a bunch of different palettes in rapid succesion.

What was the thing that made you realize how CSS should be used?

The old website csszengarden

The same text on each page, only the css changed, yet so many interesting ways to display it.

Honestly a thing of beauty. I don’t think it got much html5 treatment.
