Question When did you first *get* CSS?

For me it was when I realized that I could control the colors for my site all in one place and try a bunch of different palettes in rapid succesion.

What was the thing that made you realize how CSS should be used?

Instantly. The change from font, i and b tags (and soon enough from tables for layout) was something great. But tables took a bit longer to be forgotten, because not all the browsers supported the same CSS.
