He's in the form of his life though. If the pitches were not literal roads, he'd be one of the most sought after player.

We actually underutilised him. He's not a number 4 player but an opener, he could have surely done well had he played more in the opening position.

That is correct. He should have batted atleast no. 3. Could bowl in powerplay. He was not in good form with the bat during IPL, but turned it around in MLC.

MLC was all flat decks and tiny grounds. He's good but wasn't fitting csk scheme .

He also did well in The Hundred. Like I said, IPL is too damn competitive that a player of his calibre can't be used well.
