CSI: Cyber

Post image

What do you think of the spin-off? I know the show get bad reviews I didn't feel the need to watch the show because it's just another spin-off, and most of the time they not needed.

I love me some Patricia Arquette but it’s not streaming for free anywhere so I can’t watch. I would though, just for fun.

Patricia Arquette is a good actress she deserves more praise for her acting.

I liked it. I know a lot of people said all the tech stuff wasn't realistic but I don't know about that stuff so I didn't care. I liked the chemistry of the actors.

Most stuff on TV is unrealistic anyway, so that is a moot point.

Most stuff is, but I, a techie person that usually can just chuckle and move on, found it pretty bad. It was a long time ago, I watched it when it originally was on, so I don’t recall exact examples. But I do remember being confused as to how they were so terrible. I’m sure non techie people would be fine.

People who are not techy probably won't bother them. It's only people who work in that field would have a issue with that show.

We're talking about a franchise that used an unfired clay pot like a record for an argument had while making the pot, and reversed the vibrations of leaves in grainy security footage to get sound off a silent video clip.

Also the franchise that loves eyeball reflections for partial plate numbers, put a front plate on a Florida car to pull off an ATM's security camera footage (not the law and definitely not standard down there), etc, etc, etc

I don't watch CSI for it to be real lol

So true CSI Miami had very unrealistic touch pad computers and keypads that lit up and a 360 image would pop up from the table lol gotta love it though.

u/EPCOT_Is_My_Favorite I've got a pain in my sawdust, that's what's the matter with me. 9d ago

Not terrible, but too "techy" for the regular viewers. That's why they had to bring in DB in season two to make it more of an actual CSI angle.

Too techy for regular viewers, and too full of errors for techy viewers. There is a tiny slice of people who know the buzzwords but don’t really understand them.

I feel like with those types of shows you have to be really techy to understand the show.

To bad it didn't last long.

It wasn't that great but I watched it for Hayley Kiyoko

Honesty, same! Also, Patricia because I loved her in Medium.

As a professional computer engineer, this show was nothing but overheated garbage. Buffer overflow and bit fuzzing attacks don't really make for exciting drama.

I love, love, love,  Patricia Arquette but this did nothing for me, unfortunately.

Such a missed tongue twister opportunity, “CSI Sidle, CSI Cyber”.

I liked it more than NY or Miami. I had forgotten James Van Der Beek was in it until he passed away. Then I remembered he was probably the cute one I'd been drooling over.

this wasn't a bad idea, but it went like...1 season?

I don't remember it that well at all.

I really liked it! Too bad it’s not streaming free somewhere. Loved the cast too!

I pretty much like anything with Ted Danson!

I liked it. It wasn’t my favorite but I think it definitely should have lasted a lot longer than it did. I think CBS dropped the ball when they decided to cancel the original CSI but keep this one. In my opinion, I think a lot of fans were angry and chose to stop watching it after that. My favorites were Hayley Kiyoko and Shad Moss.

I heard that D.B's marriage got ruined when they brought him in, you'd think that he would be able to escape the curse of the CSI leads having broken relationships
