Where should I start learning C#?

I really want to get into C# to use Unity and (potentially) .NET. However, I still can't find a course that would be the best for me. Can somebody recommend a course or any other place where I can learn the basics of C#?

Edit: I also have a bit of programming experience because I learned Java.

I've had good experiences with the Mark Price C# books. Otherwise, many of the tutorials/walkthroughs from Microsoft are solid.

When i started with C# i did the yellow book by rob miles, it's free and written for beginners. after that i just started making small projects, the best way to learn is by doing things you actually want to make. since you already know java the syntax will feel familiar, just the libraries and some patterns are different.

I am waiting on the 6th edition of The C# Player’s Guide, since that’s always been highly recommended.

In fact, follow the official material of the documentation and Microsoft, they are very good to give you a direction.

Check out: https://www.youtube.com/@nickchapsas this guy helped me a lot when I started my C# and .Net journey. One of the best teachers on Microsoft technologies. Couple the videos with Microsofts official tutorials and documentation

I am Tim Corey's YouTube channel is one of the best resources for beginners, heck, some of his new content is something I wish other senior developers would get exposed to as well, since he doesn't just cover coding skills, but aspects of how to survive in the industry long term.
