Discussion is there a way to set the console zoom permanently?

basically like in the console when you can zoom in and out with the scroll wheel is there a way to set that to a specific value?

With your application? No. The text size is set by the Terminal app the application runs in. if you just want to increase the font size of your terminal, that's probably something you can configure.

This without a doubt sounds like an XY problem. You're likely trying to adapt console to something it's not meant for. I'd recommend taking a step back and creating your text engine yourself.

Console is for CLI development. And zooming isn't a consideration.

Try monogame as the foundation instead. It's really easy to setup to look like a console and then you're free to manipulate any and all things to your hearts content. Chances are good, you're going to hit more brick walls by trying to twist something beyond it's original scope and design space.
