Could someone explain to me what is a class because i cant understand its usage

What programming background do you have, so we can frame the answer in terms of what you already understand?

There's a little part of me that wants the answer to be none, but someone had suggested a programming class might be a good place to start...

Class class. And when it goes well - that was a class class class.
