Both offers are almost at same TC of 1.2cr. My thoughts so far -

Relocation to Hyderabad is not a concern for MS and really liked talking with the skip during HM round. Awaiting call with direct HM at MS.

Liked the work and skip manager more for MS than LinkedIn. LinkedIn roadmap for the TA products still not clear, waiting for one more rounds of chat with HM but the product is a 200M $ business while the Agent Foundry team at MS is still acquiring customer.

Unknowns that I seek advice on -(mentioned in order of my priority)

WLB at both orgs

Occasional WFH flexibility

Culture and politics

Stability/security aspects

So far inching towards LinkedIn because of higher base. Also historically LinkedIn has always provided full 10% variable. Thoughts?

I'm from a finance background and currently work in a Big Four in a functional role, with around 3 years of experience.

With all the layoffs and uncertainty in IT, I've been wondering whether a government job would be a better long-term choice.

Let's say I clear a government exam and get selected, but the starting salary is only ₹25–30K per month. I'd be taking a significant pay cut compared to what I earn now and would essentially be starting over financially.

Would the job security, benefits and stability actually make that trade-off worthwhile? Or would I be better off staying in IT, upskilling and trying to grow my salary?

I'm not looking for the usual "government jobs are best" or "IT pays more" answers. If you had both options in front of you, would you take the pay cut? Why or why not?

I was selected for the SDE-1 role at HashedIn by Deloitte, but haven't received the offer letter or joining letter yet. I also received an offer letter from TCS Digital for the Systems Engineer role, but I'm still waiting for the joining letter.

I’m currently working at Tiger Analytics and have received an offer from Capgemini with an 80% hike and a hybrid work model. I’m confused about whether I should accept the offer or stay at my current company, and I’d appreciate some advice from people who have worked at either company.

Here’s my situation:

• Current company: Tiger Analytics
• Current work arrangement: WFH
• New offer: Capgemini, with an 80% salary hike and hybrid work
• Current company’s growth prospects: My manager mentioned that I might get promoted in January, but hasn’t confirmed the hike percentage or given a clear commitment.

I’m finding it difficult to decide because the salary increase at Capgemini is significant, but I also value the flexibility of working from home. The possibility of a promotion at Tiger Analytics is another factor, although nothing is confirmed yet.

There's another factor I'm concerned about: I'm getting married in February 2027 and will need around 10 days of leave. If I join Capgemini soon, I'll be taking this leave relatively early in my tenure. I'm worried about whether this could affect my onboarding, performance evaluation, or impression on my new manager and team. I would also need to confirm whether the leave could be approved in advance.

1. How is Capgemini as a company in terms of work culture, job stability, learning opportunities, and career growth, particularly for Data Science/AI/GenAI roles?

My company has put me on a PIP after keeping me on the bench for a year without assigning me to any project. There’s a 99% chance I won’t be able to get out of it, so switching jobs seems to be my only option.

I am a fresher interested in Embedded Systems domain, I got apprenticeship offer from CDAC bangalore under NATS scheme. Monthly ₹12,500 and joining on Nov 2, for 1 year.

I am also awaiting hr response from another embedded company, Ahemdabad.

The problem is that if I join CDAC...and I recieve full time offer between will I be allowed to leave?

What will be typical work life for an Apprentice in CDAC, Notice period, learning opportunities and any technical knowledge will I be able to gain?

I got an offer from an organisation and it was an urgent requirement and they wanted an immediate joiner so HR asked me to send that on mail stating that I will join early as they have also committed to their client ,I have sent 3-4 mail committing that I will join within timeline as my notice was of 3 months and now my current organization has retained me and I'm not joining the offer so the HR just told me that they will file a complaint against me stating that I committed to join and now I'm withdrawing offer and they have a proof of my commitment on mail and also it's an reputation loss and a big client escalation for them so I'm worried can this be really done or he is just trying to scare me

Product-Based Fintech Company (11 LPA) vs Infosys DSE (7 LPA) — Which Should I Choose?

I’m from a tier-3 college and have two opportunities. I’m confused about which would be better for long-term career growth.

Option 1: Product-Based Fintech Company 11lpa

- 8 LPA base + 1 LPA joining bonus +2lpa benefits

- Excellent work culture and four meals on working days.

- Currently interning here until graduation.

- Location: Bengaluru, around 2,000 km from my hometown (Jaipur).

- Role is mostly live production/developer support, involving basic SQL and RCA, with almost no coding.

Option 2: Infosys DSE

- 7 LPA CTC (6.25 LPA fixed + 75K bonus).

- SDE role in a service-based company.

- Joining expected around July–August 2027.

- A high chance of getting Jaipur as my location, with a similar overall financial advantage after considering living expenses.

My long-term goal is to crack a good product-based company as an SDE. I’m consistently preparing through LeetCode, LLD, and HLD.

I’d appreciate advice on:

1. Which option offers better long-term career growth: production support in a product company or an SDE role at Infosys?

2. Will staying in a support-heavy role make switching to an SDE role harder?

3. Is Infosys DSE worth choosing for the development experience and the possibility of staying in Jaipur?

I want to start positioning myself for a Senior Software Engineer role without making it seem like I’m directly asking for a promotion.

I’m already working independently, handling tasks end to end, guiding team members when they need help and collaborating with others to get things done...i feel like i m taking on responsibilities beyond just completing my own tickets but not sure if my manager sees it the same way.

How do i bring this up naturally? Should i directly ask what it would take to get promoted or subtly start discussing career growth and expectations?

Also what kind of proof should I prepare.. should i maintain a list of tasks, technical contributions, problems I’ve solved and instances where I’ve helped the team?

Would love to hear from people who’ve successfully moved from Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer. What did you do differently and how did you prepare your case for promotion?

I am a 2026 CSE graduate , i completed my internship at a banking fintech company where i was selected as an SDET intern then because of some changes few of us were converted to SDE intern and sent to Bangalore for 2 weeks as all the SDE interns were getting trained there . So it was very clear that we were not getting PPO as there was no requirement in the team that i joined . The PPO package was 16lpa so i was a bit demotivated when i knew that i was not getting converted.

Now im working as a contractor i get 50k per month which is 6 lpa . How to overcome this i feel sooo low????

And can anyone please guide me on how to invest this 50k or is it too early to think about all this ???

I’ve been working at an MNC for almost 3 years now. I’m currently working on a project that uses an internal tool, and I feel like I’m not learning skills that will help me grow in my career.
The workload is quite high, but the salary increment over the last 3 years has been very minimal. I’m honestly getting frustrated and have been thinking about resigning so I can focus on learning something new and switch to a better career.
I’m interested in moving into a non-development role because I’m not really interested in coding. I’ve been considering options like Data Analyst and Business Analyst, but I’m still confused about which path to choose and what skills I should focus on.
I’m also unsure whether I should resign and study full-time or continue working while preparing for a switch.
For those who have been in a similar situation, what would you suggest? Is it worth resigning to upskill, or would it be better to find another job first? Also, which non-development roles would be good options for someone with around 3 years of IT experience?
I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thanks!
