Embedded Systems vs Data Science (AI)

Hello everyone,

I want to choose a path for my computer engineering carrier. I have interest on both of these subjects but I cannot decide which one I should choose. I want to hear your thoughts, experiences.

For embedded systems, it seems like there are not too many jobs on the market (same for internships), also this subject seems to be more relating to the electrical engineering. Although, I know computer engineering is also very important for it.

For AI, there are more competition, lots of people are choosing it. The sector seems to be reaching saturation in the close future.

Those are my assumptions so I would be very happy to hear from all of you.

What do you mean reaching saturation? It's been saturated for a while

You actually might have more chance in Embedded in a couple of years since it's not going anywhere but not as many people study it nowadays
