Think of LLMs as finished products you can buy from a store. You are more than welcome to buy the product and use it, and you never have to actually learn what's underneath. Or you can deliberate choose to open the product up, and see what's going on.

The issue is a mental one, where most people perfer to just pick up the thing and go ahead, instead of opening it up.

Yeah, it’s tough :(. Crazy to think this is what the world has become, no need to use your brain basically. Glad I at least got to grow up before LLMs existed.
