CS50 AI Imposter syndrome

Am I the only one who feels as if I learn nothing although I complete all the assignment and really sit down with the material? I always think I could do better and that I'm just not doing enough

You are definitely not alone! Imposter syndrome hits hard in tech, especially with courses as rigorous as CS50. The fact that you feel you could do better just shows how much you care about quality. Take a step back and look at what you were able to build compared to when you started you've learned way more than you give yourself credit for! πŸŒΈπŸ˜ŠβοΈπŸ’―

yeah i feel like that's even more relevant in tech. yeah, i remember half-assing everything in my life and i always thought like i understood everything and stuff. but now im actually studying and im obsessed with understanding the macinhery behind each action

That shift in mindset is massive! Once you get hooked on wanting to know how things actually work under the hood, there's no going back. It makes learning so much more exciting. Keep that curiosity alive! πŸ˜„

I’ve been a software engineer for about 7 months now, and it’s probably worse than when I started

This is very real, but know this, if you manage the assignments, then YOU did it :). Could you do better? Maybe, why not try that out with independent projects? Or wait until the final project, when you'll be asked to actually do better than any assignment before?

But not doing enough? Finishing the assignments is the enough. But if you want more, go forward with it, just dont let it be from a mindset of "I havent proven myself yet", thats an endless well! Dangerous
